Saemium is a jewelry brand built on the concept of a “new metal,” named after its founder, Kim hansaem. Established in Seoul in 2022 with a background in metalcraft, Saemium focuses on creating pieces that are always fresh yet wearable — from custom jewelry shaped from the human body to ready-to-wear designs infused with Saemium’s unique sensibility.
The brand began with an experimental approach to eyewear, which eventually led to the creation of a new kind of eyewear worn on the teeth — the starting point of Saemium Grills. Today, Saemium expands beyond teeth to explore the nose, ears, lips, fingers, and other body impressions, producing jewelry that is truly one-of-a-kind.
More than just making jewelry, Saemium proposes a new experience where body and metal converge. Through custom processes that capture individuality and experimental designs, Saemium aspires to create jewelry that becomes a performance the moment it is worn.
